The Owensboro City Commission is expected to approve funds to keep the juvenile drug court program going for another three years. Over the last three years, more than 50 kids have gone through the program. Eight teens have graduated from the four month program and juvenile drug court officials say that’s a success. If passed, the city will pay $88,000 to continue funding the program. The Daviess County Fiscal Court is expected to join the city and assist with funding.
