More than 100 homes in Daviess County will join the Regional Water Resource Agency’s sewer system by 2017. RWRA is extending its sewer system 9500 feet near U.S. 231 in the Masonville area. Homeowners will be required to pay around $4,000 to hook up to the sewer system when its built. Half of the $1.2 million expansion project will be paid for by a community development block grant. RWRA officials say the project will be bid out in the winter and construction will begin in the spring.
