The Owensboro doctor who pleaded guilty in connection with a nationwide Medicare fraud investigation was sentenced Tuesday morning. According to media partner 14News, Dr. Randall King pleaded guilty early this month to importing IUDs not approved by the FDA and then billing Medicare for them. King appeared in court Tuesday morning for his formal sentencing hearing. He was sentenced to one year probation, but will still be able to practice as a doctor. King will also be required to pay $68,000 in restitution and a $1,000 fine.
