Sewer rates could be going up in Hawesville. According to media partner 14News, the 50-year-old sewer plant is in need of replacing. If city leaders decide to take out a $5 million low-interest loan from the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, rates for customers would go up $10 to $15 a month.
