Owensboro Community and Technical College will receive some much needed funding for the second phase of the advanced technology center. The Daviess County Fiscal Court is expected to give $1 million for the project. All manufacturing programs will be moved to the main campus once the project is finished. Phase Two will offer new manufacturing courses like robotic welding and expand the automotive technology program. OCTC officials hope to break ground on the project next spring and have it finished by next fall.
