A wet/dry petition circulating around Beaver Dam could result in alcohol sales for the Ohio County city. According to media partner 14News, organizers of the petition hope to have enough signatures by next month, and a vote would be held 30 to 90 days after that. If Beaver Dam goes wet, the law will allow two liquor store licenses to be issued in the city and convenience stores will be allowed to sell beer. Bars or taverns would still be prohibited.
