A cyclist was injured in an accident Sunday afternoon in Daviess County. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, deputies, along with the fire department and Yellow Ambulance responded to the 6400 block of KY 762 around 3:38pm. Officials made contact with Jackie Chisolm, who stated that she and her husband, Donald Chisolm, were riding bicycles when a dog ran out in front of them. Donald Chisolm struck the dog, causing him to wreck his bike. Chisolm was wearing a helmet, but was injured in the accident. He was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital where he was later listed in critical condition.
