Kim Davis’ name came up in another debate between the state’s two major-party gubernatorial candidates in Danville Tuesday night. Democratic nominee Jack Conway said he could support a narrowly drafted plan providing a religious objections exemption for officials.. Conway said the plan would have to be in line with the U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage nationwide. Republican nominee Bevin also said he supports an exemption based on religious objections.
