A Tennessee woman was arrested Friday afternoon after police say she was drunk and driving erratically with children in her vehicle. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, a child inside the vehicle of 39-year-old Jennifer Kuhl of Hendersonville, Tennessee, called 911 to report his mother had hit another vehicle and left the scene, and was driving on the wrong side of the road, nearly having more collisions. Deputy Duane Harper found her car at a home on Masonville-Habit Road. Harper attempted to take Kuhl into custody, and reported that she was intoxicated and resisted by pulling and jerking away. The Masonville fire chief assisted and Kohl was taken to the Daviess County Detention Center. Open alcohol containers were found in her vehicle, as well as three children, aged 12, 11 and 7. Child Protective Services placed the children in the care of their grandparents. The Ohio County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the hit and run collision. Jennifer Kuhl was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs/Alcohol with aggravated circumstances, Resisting Arrest, and three counts of Wanton Endangerment.
