The ACLU and its Indiana chapter have filed suit against Indiana Governor Mike Pence and the Secretary of the Indiana’s FSSA. They say the Governor’s refusal to accept Syrian refugees is unconstitutional. The suit was filed on behalf of Exodus Refugee Immigration. That’s the group that had to divert a Syrian family from Indiana to Connecticut after Pence’s decision. The ACLU says there is no border around the state of Indiana that prevents people from moving freely within the United States.
