Police are still looking for clues in a shooting last week in Henderson that injured an Owensboro man. According to media partner 14News, Henderson police responded last Wednesday to the 100 block of Rankin Avenue just before midnight. There they found 35-year-old William Dixon in the yard, having been shot in the hip. Dixon told them two black males were involved in the incident, but had no other details for police. Officers say they found a handgun in the yard. Dixon was taken to an Evansville hospital. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Henderson police at (270) 831-1295.
