A group of Mount St. Joseph residents have formed a nonprofit corporation called the Community Against Pig Pollution and Disease in an effort to fight Jerry O’Bryan’s attempt to open a hog truck washing facility near their homes. They’ve hired Louisville environmental attorney Henry Graddy, who filed a petition with the Office of Administrative Hearings in Frankfort. He claims construction has been done without the proper permit. O’Bryan is building the hog truck sanitizing facility, called Piggy Express, on Kentucky 258 about five miles from his main Curdsville hog operation. He says he’s in compliance.
