An Owensboro man has been arrested along with a female juvenile after Owensboro police responded to a firearm discharge call on Carpenter Drive Tuesday night. According to the OPD report, the call came in around 11pm. Officers on scene observed that at least two rounds had struck the residence; there were no injuries reported from the three adults inside. Within minutes, OPD located and stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Hermitage Drive that was believed to have been involved in this incident. The investigation has revealed that the driver of that vehicle, 20-year-old Khalil D. Hinton, acted jointly with a female juvenile as he drove to and from this scene. The juvenile fired the weapon at the residence with the knowledge that it was occupied. Khalil D. Hinton is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
