Meteorologist Jeff Lyons from 14NEWS tell us a fast-moving clipper system will spread light snow across the northern half of the Tri-State by early Tuesday morning. The RPM models shows snow arriving in the north after midnight: By 5am, snow will impact areas along and north of the Ohio River, making for slick roads at the start of the commute. Snow continues through the morning drive time, then tapers off: Total snowfall will be light, but will also be enough to create hazardous travel conditions on untreated roadways:
WINDS WILL INCREASE FROM THE NORTHWEST ON TUESDAY...WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH. ROADS MAY BE SLIPPERY FOR MORNING COMMUTERS. KEEP IN TOUCH WITH LATER FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS...AND BE READY TO ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE.
