Road crews, emergency personnel and anyone else that had “business as usual” during Friday’s snow found a familiar establishment stayed open providing hot food and a place to get out of the weather. As has happened on previous occasions, Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn on West Parrish made it clear they were not closing because of the snow. One of the owners told media partner 14News that the restaurant took a loss by being open, but it’s not about making a profit on bad weather days. Another reason for the opening was for the staff, who would suffer financially if the restaurant took the day off.
