An east Daviess County woman has been arrested after a stabbing Sunday morning. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called around 6am, and upon arrival found a man sitting in a chair holding a towel on his chest. Deputies determined the man had been stabbed in an altercation with his live-in girlfriend, 22-year-old Mackenzie McCabe. Police say McCabe then took the knife out to the back yard and threw it into the snow. The victim was transported to the hospital. McCabe was arrested and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center. She is charged with 1st degree Domestic Assault, and tampering with physical evidence.
