The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of two Norfolk Southern Railroad crossings on state routes in Crawford County. Contractors for Norfolk Southern will perform repairs to the crossings on State Road 66 from S.R. 64 to I-64 near Marengo and on SR 237 from SR 64 to I-64. Both closures will begin on Monday, March 28 and work is expected to take until the beginning of April. Official detours have been put in place for both closures. On S.R. 66, motorists should use I-64, S.R. 337 and SR 64. On S.R. 237, motorists should use I-64, S.R. 37 and S.R. 64. Local traffic will have access to the point of closure. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
