Two people were killed Wednesday in a Hopkins County accident. According to media partner 14News, it happened on Highway 41A near Preston Bunch Road in Earlington. The sheriff’s office says 28-year-old Charles Moore was driving north in the southbound lanes on Highway 41A for an unknown reason. That’s when he struck another car head-on. Both Moore and the driver of the other vehicle, 42-year-old Jeffery Oldam, were pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner. Police say a small child was hurt in the wreck and flown to an Evansville hospital. The investigation into the crash continues.
