A two vehicle collision on Wayne Bridge Road Saturday afternoon resulted in one injury and one death. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, 18-year-old Devin Lanham told deputies he had just left Panther Creek Park and was traveling east on Wayne Bridge Road when he left the right shoulder of the pavement. That caused him to lose control of his pickup, overcorrecting and veering over the center line. That’s when he struck a Honda CRV head-on. The driver of the Honda died in the wreck. The name of the deceased has not yet been released. The accident remains under investigation.
