UPDATE: KSP reports that inmate Scott Sullivan has been captured and is back in jail.
A man being transferred to the Webster County Detention Center has escaped, and Kentucky State Police is on the lookout. According to media partner 14News, 33-year-old Scott Sullivan was being transported at the jail when he ran from deputy jailers. Sullivan was last seen wearing a black hat, black shirt, and black pants. He’s about 5′ 7″ and weighs around 150 pounds. He’s described to have brown hair and green eyes. Sullivan has been serving time since June 2011 and was expected to be released in May 2018 at the earliest. He was jailed on charges of fleeing and evading and two counts of wanton endangerment. Anyone who sees him is advised not to approach him, but instead call 911 or the Kentucky State Police.
