An Owensboro woman was arrested following a collision between her vehicle and a house. According to the Owensboro Police Depaertment, they responded Tuesday to an accident with injuries call in the 3000 block of E. Yellowstone Drive. At approximately 4:05pm, an argument began between Kristine Peters and her boyfriend, Richard Askins. Peters was operating her Honda Civic passenger car, and officers say she intentionally struck a Dodge Dakota pickup truck being driven by Askins, while on Omega Street. Askins then drove to the 3000 block of E. Yellowstone Drive where Peters again intentionally struck his pickup with her vehicle. Peters lost control of her vehicle which then struck the home at 3007 E. Yellowstone Drive. Two residents were inside at the time but were not injured. Kristine Peters was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for a minor head injury and was later released. She is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on the below charges.
