The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a complete road closure on State Road 66 about 13 miles east of Cannelton. On or around September 27, INDOT Crews will replace a culvert pipe at mile marker 93. This will require excavation at the site spanning all lanes of traffic. The closure is expected to last for about a day, depending upon weather conditions. The closure is not expected to affect school bus traffic. Once the pipe has been replaced, the motoring public is asked to use caution in the area. The road will be rough at the site of the replacement while crews allow for the fill to compact. Crews will be back soon after the completion of the pipe replacement to repave the disturbed area.
