An Owensboro man has been arrested and charged in several arson cases. According to the Owensboro Police Department, officers responded Tuesday to a dumpster fire at Kroger Grocery Store, 1670 Starlite Drive and a vehicle fire at Good Shepherd Church, 3031 Bittel Road. OPD deployed a K-9 unit to track the suspect and located 18-year-old Gary W. Milam walking on the greenbelt. After being questioned by detectives, Milam was arrested for the two fires as well as six additional arson cases from 2016. He is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
