A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans asphalt paving along KY 279, KY 554, KY 815, & KY 2156 in DAVIESS County in coming weeks.
Initially, work will start with about one or two days of base repairs along KY 279 on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Once the base repairs are completed they will be allowed to settle for at least 7 days before paving begins.
Motorists can expect to encounter work zone lane restrictions at the following locations:
From milepoint 0.0 at the KY 815 intersection extending northward to mile piont 5.101 near the intersection with Stephens Road, a distance of 5.1 miles.
From milepoint 0.0 at the Daviess-McLean County Line extending northward to the KY 816 intersection at mile point 0.963, a distance of just under one mile.
From milepoint 0.0 at the Daviess-McLean County Line extending northward the the KY 1514 intersection at mile point 2.114, a distance of just over 2 miles.
KY 2156/May Road
