Utica, KY (May 21, 2017) Kentucky State Police investigated a two vehicle collision with injuries on US Highway 431 in Utica. Ashley Sikes, 32, of Utica, KY was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox south bound on US 431. Erin Hunter, 32, of Utica, KY was operating a 2014 Ford Focus south on US 431. Sikes was stopped at the intersection of US 431 and E Marksberry Rd when Hunter failed to stop and collided with her vehicle. The impact caused Ms. Sikes vehicle to go into a field. Sikes along with her passenger Mrs. Kim Sikes 51, of Utica, KY were both transported to Owensboro Health by Ambulance. Hunter was transported to Owensboro Health by private vehicle. KSP was assisted on the scene by Daviess County Fire Department and Yellow Ambulance.
Owensboro, KY. (May 21, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police responded to a collision with injuries located at the Huck’s gas station on HWY 54 and the 60 Bypass. Mary Fulkerson, 79, of Owensboro was operating a passenger vehicle when she struck the concrete barrier protecting a gas pump. Fulkerson was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital due to injuries sustained from the collision.
