More About Black Stone Cherry
Black Stone Cherry is set to release “Black to Blues” in late September. While the group’s live sets have always included some blues numbers, this will be the band’s first blues EP and will include covers by Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Freddie King, and Albert King and was recorded at Barrick Recording, the same studio where the band recorded their recent album, Kentucky. Vocalist and guitarist Chris Robertson states, “I hope by sharing this music, we have the beautiful opportunity to expose a new generation to the blues.”
