Two Owensboro residents have been arrested in connection to the break-ins of several vehicles on Thursday morning. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, the third shift got a call from an off-duty deputy saying that two people were breaking into vehicles in the 2200 block of Oak Drive. Depuies located one suspect walking away from the area, in possession of a holster taken from one of the cars. That suspect admitted to hiding the firearm when police arrived. A second suspect was soon located with several other stolen items, including a laptop, gym bag, and another firearm. Arrested were 18-year-old Joshua Hazel and 20-year-old Bailey Borum-Hawkins.
