The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that KY 298 will be closed at milepoint 2.7 in Daviess County starting Monday, Oct 9 through Friday, Oct. 13.
Maintenance crews will be repairing an approach to the bridge over the South Fork of Panther Creek.
Motorists should expect minor delays. There will not be a marked detour but motorists can travel around the work zone via U.S. 431, U.S. 60 and U.S. 231.
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways. For real-time traffic and travel information in Kentucky, visit goky.ky.gov
