College View Middle School competed at the KAAC Sixth Grade Showcase, hosted by Owensboro Middle School on Dec. 2. “Sixth Grade Showcase is a true team event because students feed to College View from multiple elementary schools and have just shy of four months to work together as a brand new team,” said Dr. Jacob Bryant, who serves as the CVMS sixth-grade academic team coach and science teacher. “This year’s team demonstrated an outstanding commitment to College View Middle School’s expectation of excellence. From day one, the team identified their mission as finishing first in Sixth Grade Showcase, and their hard work and dedication paid off as they were able to honor their school in way that exemplifies what we do best and obtain the goal they set for themselves. The entire coaching staff and I could not be more proud of this team!”
