Two Daviess County men were arrested Monday morning after being stopped at a convenience store. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were following up on a theft complaint when they got information that the suspects were at Quality Quick on Breckenridge at around 4:35am. In their vehicle, several bags of marijuana were seen in plain view, and a search revealed methamphetamine and paraphernalia. One suspect, 20-year-old Jacob Lyons Boue of Owensboro, was also found to be in possession of a handgun without a permit to carry it. Boue was charged with possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and being part of a fraudulent firearm transaction. 21-year-old Kelby Roberts of Philpot was charged with similar offenses, including addional charges for possession of meth.
