An Owensboro man was severly injured early Saturday evening after his Jeep left the roadway.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department says 28 year old James Boles was driving his 77 Jeep CJ westbound on Ky 56, with his one year old son.
Police say the Jeep left the road, came back across, struck several road signs, went in to a yard, striking some concrete steps, overturning back on to the roadway. Boles suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital. His one year old son was securely strapped in to the car seat and only suffered minor scratches.
Police say alcohol is suspected and the investigation is ongoing.
