Kentucky’s largest teachers’ union is worried that more changes could be coming to the state’s board of education. The KEA yesterday warned its members on social media that Governor Matt Bevin’s new appointments to the Kentucky Board of Education could lead to the firing of the state’s education commissioner. The governor yesterday appointed new members to the board, including his former Workforce Development cabinet secretary and a former spokeswoman. The board is set to meet today to elect new leaders and possibly vote on Education Commissioner Scott Pruitt’s future.
