Tyson Foods is recalling breaded chicken products because of possible plastic contaminations. The company’s supplier for breading ingredients discovered blue and clear soft plastics in the ingredients this week. Now, three-thousand pounds of frozen Tyson breaded chicken are being considered hazardous. The “uncooked, breaded, original chicken tenderloins” in the recall have the number “P-746” on the packaging. The Department of Agriculture urges consumers to throw the breaded chicken in the trash.
