In addition to paying more sales tax on additional services, Kentuckians are paying more for their cigarettes. The cigarette tax in the Commonwealth increased from 60-cents to a-dollar-ten per pack when new laws went into effect yesterday. Other changes in Kentucky include a lowering of the corporate and individual income tax rates.
