An Owensboro man was arrested Monday afternoon on firearm charges after deputies say he was threatening others with a gun and a knife. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, deputies, along with the Kentucky State Police, responded aound 2:30pm to the Colony Mobile Home Park after getting a call about the incident. While investigating, deputies located a loaded pistol in a secret compartment in the suspect’s trunk. 23-year-old Julian Brady was arrested, charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Menacing, and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. Brady was also arrested on three unrelated warrants.
