A wreck on the Natcher Parkway claimed the life of a woman yesterday evening. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, 27 year old Lacy Brinton of Columbia, KY r was traveling southbound when she struck some type of unknown substance on the roadway and lost control of her vehicle, crossing the median, near mile marker 65. 
35 year old Joshua Whitehead of Owensboro was driving northbound and collided with the vehicle on the drivers side.  Brinton was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Mike Postlewaite.
