Proudest Moment in Radio: Co-organizing and emceeing

back to loved ones.

already?)
Something Most Listeners Would Not Know About Me: I'm

If I Was Not in Radio, I'd Be: Women keep telling me
that because of my voice, I should operate a phone sex line.

Adam
Fendrich
Fendrich grew up in the Pacific Northwest and while he doesn't
jog or chop wood; he can hammer espresso and uncork an Oregon
Pinot Noir at light speed. When he's not spewing useless Classic
Rock knowledge or complaining on The Real Show, he wastes his
day killing teenage opponents on Xbox Live, walking his Greyhound
or dodging responsibility of any kind. Fendrich somehow married
a total hottie, although his inability to be "real" with her
makes the threat of sleeping on the couch a constant possibility. |
Tom
Collins
Tom Collins was born a poor farm boy in South Dakota. His talent
behind the microphone has helped ruin many a radio station.
When he's not on the air he can be found test-driving manufacturer's
review cars on sheet metal ramps and logs in the back woods.
Mr. Collins is a published author and a nationally recognized
expert on a number of arcane topics (we could list them, but
the number is far too great to comprehend). He lives in a double
wide with his kids and his Misses. His vast collection of Slim
Whitman records is housed 30 feet below the surface of the earth
in a concrete bunker. |
Tom
Fry
Fry has been an actor since 1995. He was in over 20 films and
television shows while living in Los Angeles over a period of
8 years. Lately the only acting jobs he's gotten is acting like
an idiot. Fry got back into radio last year and is only too
happy to share his starving L.A. stories with you. He is also
a musician and songwriter and has released two albums. He loves
to play his Martin D-28 acoustic guitar when he isn't watching
his favorite teams on his flat panel house payment television.
But maybe Fry's biggest passion lies in Classic Rock. That of
course, and dressing in women's clothing... |
Dusty
Scott
Dusty is a recovering drummer who worked his way through school
playing Broadway show tunes in the pit orchestra at a suburban
Washington, DC dinner theatre. Later, he worked the middle-Atlantic
club circuit in an otherwise all-girl, all-hottie glam-rock
band you've never heard of. No, he didn't get any. Unfortunately,
the band had a hands-off-each-other policy. Before long, the
band members' "cycles" all got in sync. Eventually, this monthly
estrogen overdose forced him to quit the band, believing he
could earn a more reliable income in radio…fool. Dusty's resume
includes flame-throwin' rock stations in Washington (DC), Houston,
Colorado Springs, Toledo, and Richmond (VA). He even played
classical music on stations in L.A. and Denver, until he realized
there's practically no such thing as a classical DJ groupie.
There are moments when he complains about the business of radio,
but he genuinely loves the music. And besides, where else can
you find a job where socks are optional? He sold the drums a
long time ago to help support his family. Dusty has two sons-somewhere-and
dozens of ex-wife stories that would curl your hair. He's now
happily re-married to a knock-out who looks a little like Barbara
Eden back in the day. On the list of Dusty's favorite things,
his big ol' honkin' HDTV comes in a close second. |
"Shark"
Shark is a rock and roll animal. He was the first baby ever
born at Phoenix General with a Harley jacket and riding chaps
genetically fused to his skin. When he's not living the music,
Shark can be found riding the roads less traveled on one of
his Harley Davidson motorcycles or behind the wheel of his Dodge
Magnum or Ram truck. Shark's son Bobby is also a biker who plays
a mean saxophone and is a nearly unstoppable goalie for Shark's
hockey team. There's always room for you to hit the road with
Shark's Night Ride right here on The Classic Rock Station. |
Josh
Mahler
Josh "The Mahlerman" Mahler was raised by irresponsible hippie
parents who allowed him to play guitar and listen to rock all
day so he could "find himself". You can hear the results of
that brilliant experiment on this radio station every Saturday
evening. Institutionalized life did little to prepare Josh for
the real world; his air shift is the closest thing to "normal"
that he has ever known. With a team of model-hot nurses on call
24/7, assisted living is proving to be not as bad as it sounds
for Josh Mahler. |
