From the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet:
As a reminder, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of US 41 in southern HENDERSON County on Thursday, August 6. This closure of US 41 near the 5 mile marker in Henderson County is to allow a cross drain to be replaced. This is along US 41 just north of the KY 283 intersection. US 41 is expected to close at this site promptly at 7 a.m., CDT, on Thursday. The roadway is expected to reopen to normal traffic flow at about 3:30 p.m., Thursday. There will be a marked detour for northbound traffic on US 41 via KY 416 to the Pennyrile Parkway northbound to the KY 425 Henderson Bypass back to US 41. There will be a marked detour for southbound traffic on US 41 via the KY 425 Henderson Bypass to the Pennyrile Parkway southbound to KY 416 and back to US 41. Northbound traffic on KY 283 should travel to KY 416 then the Pennyrile Pkwy northbound. Southbound traffic on KY 136 & KY 2248 should travel to the KY 425 Henderson Bypass then to Pennyrile Pkwy southbound. We will attempt to provide timely notice when the roadway is reopened to traffic.
