A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane along a section of US 60 at Owensboro on Friday. This lane restriction along US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway between mile point 16.2 and mile point 17.9 is to allow TEM Electric to install traffic count sensors in the roadway. This is along the US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway near the US 231 Interchange and the Natcher Parkway Interchange at Owensboro. Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic until about 4:00 p.m. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
