The Better Business Bureau warns people to be very careful the next few months, when buying a used car. The BBB’s Reanna Smith-Hamblin says South Carolina flooding may result in some people trying to sell flood-damages cars here. She suggests getting a Carfax, checking the car’s history, making a careful inspection, including gauges, under the dashboard, seats and carpeting, for possible signs of damage or odor. It’s also not a bad idea to have a trusted mechanic look it over as well.
