Ralph is a young black and tan coonhound that came to us from the McLean County Shelter. We don’t know too much about him since he was running as a stray there, but he seems to be a sweetheart. Ralph is a typical coonhound…he’s funny, loud, stubborn and playful, oh and did we mention he is quite the singer?! He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard because if his nose smells something interesting he will be gone. If you are interested in this pet please contact us as soon as possible. We take in approximately 3700 animals a year. Unfortunately we are an open admissions shelter and due to the amount of animals being brought to the shelter, we do have to euthanize but mainly due to space and temperament. If you are not local we can recommend transport services. Please email us at dcacanimals@yahoo.com or call at 270-685-8275. Please Hurry! We are also VERY rescue friendly. Please read our home page too. There is more information about the adoption process and shelter location and hours. ***If you are interested in a puppy please email or call to find out more about our foster to adopt program. ALL ANIMALS SHALL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED UPON COMPLETION OF THE ADOPTION PROCESS.
