Impact 100 held its annual meeting and dinner Thursday night at the RiverPark Center, and voted on which agencies were getting what amounts of the 2015 grants. Representatives from last year’s winning agencies spoke briefly before the check presentation, including Tish Correa-Osborne and a young girl from Girls Inc, who thanked the group for the money they received to purchase new vans. Out of the $238,500 available this year, the Wendell Foster Campus and the H.L. Neblett Center each received $100,000 grants. The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra received the remaining $38,500. Impact 100 Owensboro is made up of women from the community who join the group and pledge $1,000 each, as well as recruit new members throughout the year.
