Boomer is a young lab/pit mix that was brought to the shelter after he kept getting out of the yard and running the neighborhood. This sweet guy probably was bored from being kept outside in a kennel or on a chain by himself. Boomer is friendly with other dogs, loves kids and has a happy-go-lucky personality. He would very much love to find an active family who would let him live inside where he could be included in their day-to-day activities. Since Boomer is just 9 months old, he is still just a puppy and will need someone to give him lots of fun things to keep him busy and teach him basic manners. He had been a bit shy and timid here at the shelter but once you get him outside and start to rub his belly then he melts and just wants to cuddle!
