A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to resume work to upgrade roadway signage along US 60 and the Natcher Parkway at Owensboro starting Monday, June 13. To facilitate the installation of new signage the contractor plans short work zone lane restrictions along US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway from mile point 10.2 at the KY 331/Henderson Road intersection at the west edge of Owensboro extending eastward to the 22 mile marker near the KY 144 Interchange at the northeast edge of Owensboro. The intermittant lane restritions along the Natcher Parkway will be just south of the US 60/Wendell Ford Expressway Interchange near the 72 mile marker. These lane restritions will be short in length and are expected to be in place for only a few hours at a time. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic along these 4-lane sections of US 60 and the Natcher Parkway at Owensboro. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
