A high speed chase down the Pennyrile Parkway ended with a suspect being injured. According to the Kentucky State Police, it began in Christian County when Hysen Krqeli wouldn’t pull over his motorcycle for officers and sped up at times to over 150 miles per hour. KSP told media partner 14News that as they got closer to the Nortonville exit, the trooper tried to block the exit ramp, but Krqeli got around him. The trooper lost sight of Krgeli, and the next time they found him he was in a roadside ditch, and his bike had hit a sign. Troopers say Krgeli was under the influence and was driving on a suspended license. He’s facing several charges.
