The check of a parolee’s residence by an Indiana Parole Agent and an Indiana State Trooper lead to drug charges for a Tell City woman.
Trooper Trey Lytton and State Parole Agent Shelly Adams-Brown met at 1630 Tell Street, Tell City, to conduct a routine home visit. During a search of the residence, Lytton located a hypodermic needle and a glass smoking pipe in an upstairs bedroom. Residue inside the pipe field tested positive for methamphetamine. Lytton later learned that the materials belonged to 24 year old Lauren Adams. A digital scale with drug residue, a spoon, and a syringe were also found in the home; Lytton learned that those belonged to Adams as well.
Adams was placed into custody and lodged without incident in the Perry County Jail.
