The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a rash of property fires that hit the southwest part of town early Tuesday morning. According to a release from PIO Michael Hathaway, the fires started at around 4am. The property included three vehicles, a storage shed, a baby crib that was sitting in a yard, and a bicycle. Minor damage was reported to a residence in which the bicycle was near. The Owensboro Fire Department responded to each location. No injuries were reported. No damage estimates have yet been collected. No suspects have been identified, as detectives continue looking into these cases.
