The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans intermittent lane restrictions along a section of the Natcher Parkway in Ohio County starting today (Thursday). Motorists traveling the Natcher Parkway should be alert for short intermittent work zone lane restrictions between the 43 and 47 mile marker in Ohio County to allow concrete pavement repairs. Work in short segments along this 4-mile section in both the northbound and southbound lanes is an effort to provide smoother driving through the winter weather season. Work zone locations and traffic configuration may change frequently to facilitate these concrete repairs. Lane restrictions may remain in place overnight. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic along this seciton of the parkway. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow. Work is expected to continue along this seciton of the Natcher Parkway for about a week, weather permitting.
