A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans base repairs to be followed by paving along KY 1389 and KY 2157 in Daviess County starting today (Friday). On 1389, base repairs will be from near the Pup Creek Bridge extending eastward to just west of the Sheldon Road intersection. On 2157, the work will extend from the KY 764 intersection to KY 144. Each project affects about 4 miles of roadway. Then milling on those sections will begin Monday. Paving will start Tuesday. Yager Materials, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $1.2 million group highway improvement project.
