A Daviess County inmate who was on the loose for two days this week is now being charged with burglary. According to the Sheriff’s Department, a home on KY 1554 was broken into Monday night, the same day 18-year-old Kaleb Anderson escaped from jail. Deputies ended up catching Anderson near Carter and 5th Street roads on Wednesday, and after he was returned to the Detention Center, items were found that were taken in the KY 1554 burglary. When talking to detectives, Anderson admitted to the crime. He has now been charged with 2nd degree burglary.
